Funding Request Effective November 14, 2014, Highmark implemented a web-based application process for grants and sponsorship requests. This change will save your organization time, and improve your organization’s ability to submit a request. This new process will replace our paper and e-mail based application process. You will be required to create an online account when you apply. Although this is a new process, local consideration of your requests, our mission, and the information we request remains substantially the same. Today, our corporate giving benefits hundreds of organizations across our service area. We will consider applications from: Programs and services that tie to our mission and have a compelling potential impact to the health and well-being of individuals National organizations seeking support for local programs Grassroots and faith-based organizations Highmark will not provide support to organizations that in their constitution or practice discriminate against a person or group on the basis of the person’s gender, race, color, age, religion, creed, ethnicity, national origin, disability, veteran or military status, marital status, sexual orientation/gender identity, genetic information, or any other category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. 1 We generally do not accept applications for capital or building campaigns, endowment funds, fraternal or civic groups, individual causes, religious programming, multiple-year grants, seed money for start-up organizations, or political causes. Highmark uses an online application process to receive and review requests for financial assistance in the form of grants and sponsorships. Sponsorship requests must be made a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the event. Please submit one application per calendar year. You may bundle several event requests onto one proposal application. We evaluate hundreds of proposals each year. In order for your request to reach the appropriate team for review, and to ensure that we respond with a decision in a timely manner, we ask that all proposals be submitted through the online proposal tool. We carefully review each of these requests, so please allow 6 weeks for review and follow up. You can check on the status of your proposal through your login.
